Overview

Underpinned by the IB PYP Early Years framework,  learning at NIK results in happy, confident children who will develop the necessary knowledge and skills for their future academic success.

The PYP Early Years framework aims to develop global students’ essential knowledge, language, skills, learner profiles, and attitudes while encouraging students to be reflective learners who apply their newly acquired knowledge to positive actions.

The PYP is cohesively organized through integrated units of inquiry. These units are designed to be relevant, developmentally appropriate, meaningful, and engaging for the child.

Providing opportunities for students to engage and interact with members of the Korean community is an integral part of NIK’s curriculum. Field trips, in-school visits, and Korean arts and activities are incorporated throughout our program with the aim of connecting authentically with our host country’s amazing culture.
